What are British Style Crossword Puzzles?

l. British Style Crossword Puzzles are very different from American Crossword Puzzles. There are many more pattern cells or black cells in the British Style Crossword Puzzle. This means that about a third of the letters will interlink. Every letter in the puzzle is thus NOT a letter in every across word, and also NOT a letter in every down word.

2. This makes the British Style Crossword Puzzle a little more complicated to solve as you do not get that many clues from the words which intersect with it.
