MorphWord Puzzles defined
MorphWord puzzles consist of a list of words, all of the same length. The first and last words in the MorphWord list (and in certain cases, up to two of the intervening words) are given. These words are called Anchor Words. The other words are formed from clues, just as in crossword puzzles. However, in MorphWord Puzzles each word is formed from the previous word in the list.The words can be formed according to one of the following three rules:
1.Change Letter(s)
Each word in the MorphWord puzzle is formed from the previous word by changing one or more of the letters. The remaining letters do not change position.
An example of such a MorphWord puzzle would be
Watch Patch Parch Perch Peach Peace Place Plane Plank
2. Change Letter(s) plus Anagram
Each word in this MorphWord puzzle is formed from the previous word by changing one or more of the letters. The letters are then put into a new order in the manner of an Anagram.
An example of such a puzzle would be
Watch Patch Parch Sharp Sapor Polar Polka
Each word in the MorphWord puzzle begins with the last letter of the preceding word.
An example of such a puzzle would be
